The wheels look a little cheap and I had trouble unlocking them but my girlfriend figured it out in about 2 seconds. If you have trouble unlocking, press the locking tab harder. I'm going to replace them with steering wheels anyway, so it doesn't really matter. As mentioned in another review, the assembly instructions were wrong. The ones he brought are meant for a full stool and don't really fit the little thing. Assembly is pretty easy though, so it's not the end of the world. In general, the footrest is quite comfortable. I love that it can be used as a backless chair in a pinch (since that's basically what it is) and the material feels premium (which I expected at this price point). Many comfortable hours on your feet await you.
