Today I received a new Kodak AZ401BK, put in batteries and SD card and started experimenting to see how much I like it. For the money I'd say it's a pretty good camera. The battery/SD card door is a bit flimsy as mentioned in another review. But the flash, zoom and screen quality are excellent. The autofocus works well too. The controls are intuitive and comfortably large. The camera is a good size and weight. The handle and neck strap are comfortable. I bought this camera mainly to improve my photos. It handles it well. It doesn't make a great video. It's okay, but not great. Simply put, it's missing 5 stars for two reasons: 1) a weak battery case and 2) poor video quality. If you don't rely on this camera to record videos, I'd say go for it!
