Not the best quality down-like down
I bought a better quality batting at a fabric store but it was more expensive. It's adequate, slightly fluffy, and actually easier to use than the highest quality filling (because the bits don't float away during use). But the overall effect is a bit clumpy and I had to be careful to apply it evenly to fill in the crevices. It seems to hold up well during use so I'm happy with that.
