Serves its purpose. I bought the 23.6" version and it fit my monitor perfectly so between static and tight fitting I didn't even have to use any of the mounting tabs that came with it. At angles it definitely blocks the screen and is perfect. For this feature which was the main reason I bought it. I took off a star because it significantly dims the screen for me when I'm sitting directly in front of it. I turned the brightness all the way up and it's still a little dimmer than I wanted. Also, the very edges of my screen darken when viewed from a slightly higher angle, and that bothers me a bit. Overall I'm happy with it and it does what I want it to, it blocks my screen so the constant stream of people walking past my office can't see what I'm working on.
