Review on Capezio Daisy Ballet Shoe for Women by Sarjus Baer

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice shoes though.

Good quality shoes. The fit was a bit tricky. I wear 8 or sometimes 8.5 M in street shoes depending on the shoe (8.5 is always wide) so I ordered 8.5. Too tight to wear and not sure if they were long enough or not as they were meant to be quite snug on the leg. I know they stretch a bit and conform to the foot but they say not to keep them on unless they are really uncomfortable which they were. I really didn't know if I should just upgrade to the 9M or actually buy the Wide (which I never do with shoes). Got 9M and they are better. Just enough extra to walk around. Ballet flats always seem to have gaps on the sides; Simply pull the elastic band to take up the slack, tie off and slip into the shoe. The 8.5s came in a red Capezio box with a red logo on the inside and a ballerina on the outsole. The 9 came in a plastic bag, had a different gray logo on the inside, and a stylized "X" on the outsole. I was wondering if I had a legitimate product but Capezio's pictures show the latest style. The problem was that the 9s arrived with a noticeable amount of what appeared to be black animal fur inside the shoe. Otherwise they seemed perfect, but it was kind of gross. I took pictures and told Revane about it. I didn't bother returning them and they offered a small compensation.
