I have tried several hard cases for my M1 MacBook Pro 13. Excellent protection against scratches and bumps. The rubberized lip and corner bumpers also make the machine easier to grip and less likely to drop it. While it does have thicker plastic edge protection than other hard cases I've tried, I doubt it will prevent damage to the machine if you drop it from a standing height onto a hard floor. This will likely save your car from damage if you drop it on the carpet. Do not force the installation, make a lock at a time. Save the bottom flap latches in the back corner for last. For the price, this is a great case. Another plus is that the top and bottom of the screen are matte and don't scratch easily.
