Review on 👔 Bryker Hyde 10489572: The Ultimate Vertical Bifold Men's Wallet & Accessory Organizer by Dave Cavazos

The perfect bridge between bulky, versatile wallets and true minimalism

I've recently reduced the number of cards (credit and otherwise) I carry and my existing folding card with an extra flap has 1. fallen apart and 2. too much space for the amount of things I carry currently carry with me. ID. There are plenty of those, and any wallet with a second ID window has an extra flap that adds thickness. I considered going completely minimalist but finally gave up and bought this wallet. I think it's the perfect bridge between a full-on minimalist card holder and a full-size monster that folds in half and flips out the side. I've only been using the wallet for a few days but the construction looks good and the leather looks and feels good. It has the perfect number of card slots: I have a total of 6 plastic cards, 5 paper business cards, a thicker office access key card, 2 guitar picks and 8 bills, and the wallet size is just under 3/4 inch. high. A few observations I had after a weekend of use: 1. I originally had a debit card in one of the outside pockets, but I have a feeling that the end of the card that is sticking out of the pocket will eventually break off when I use it leave there. I moved it to the inside pocket. I wouldn't recommend storing cards in the two outside pockets on a regular basis; From now on, I'll probably only use them for temporary items like hotel key cards. 2. Bills are a bit difficult to put in the bill pocket. Typical double fold designs have a horizontal card orientation and plenty of room at the end of the bill pocket; The vertical orientation of the cards in this wallet makes this pocket more convenient for banknotes. Although I think this will improve as the wallet wears out.3. I keep my office access badge in an outside pocket (I think it's an RFID badge, not an NFC badge). I was glad the card reader still reads my ID through my wallet; I was worried this might not work with the RFID security. I've read that access badges use different frequencies than credit card RFIDs and that "RFID blocking" wallets generally only work on CC frequencies. I don't know enough about it to comment further, I don't have RFID CC but the access badge works via wallet which is fine for me. Overall I highly recommend this wallet after the first weekend of use. . I don't expect any short-term quality issues, but I will update the review if anything abnormal happens. Update June 2020: One year later I am still using this wallet without wanting to change it. In fact, if this one goes broke I will most likely order the same one. It holds up well and has the perfect number of slots for me.
