It cuts well, but traces of corrosion or tarnishing are visible on the pendants

I bought it so as not to look for the scissors while knitting. Pretty sharp and do the job but I took them out of their packaging and left them on my workbench while I looked for something to use as a necklace and both cutters were mysteriously showing signs of corrosion or tarnishing, although they were were nowhere to be found. in addition to moisture. It goes away when I wipe it with a damp cloth but reappears after a few hours. Like I said it cuts well and tarnishing doesn't seem to affect usability but it definitely ruins the look.
