This helmet seems to work great. It feels light but is less durable than other helmets. The padding is very thin, so not very soft; However, my son did not complain. There was a velcro strap that wasn't placed properly so my son's hair kept tugging, but when I took it off his hair was fine. Basically it's a helmet. It's lightweight and works as needed.
