works well. The setup was a bit confusing but I managed and got it working the way I wanted. The sound quality is above average to excellent for a cordless phone. The distance is great about the house and decent outside. Of course we always want more, but this works in my entire range (default country house). I am disappointed that the paging and intercom functions were removed some firmware versions ago. Honestly, I would have bought it anyway, but it might not have been the "next" item I picked up. Being able to declare the entire property is high on my wish list. Wireless is a luxury item on this list. That's why it got 4 stars. Update 3/4/19 Still working fine. The latest firmware software now supports paging and intercom. There were some audio issues related to codecs. Grandstream seems to like using different names for ULAW and ALAW. Once I figured that out, everything was fine. No change in ranking.
