I bought this product for Asus Q303UA. I installed a USB-C port to replace the very poorly made charger and plug. This laptop has already cycled through *two* chargers, and if that charger fails (as it did), it will soon be a port on the device. USB-C is a better alternative because it's durable and can handle a lot of current, especially 20V at 2.5A. That's why I bought this charger for exactly that purpose. There were actually two chargers under $30 that provided what I needed, but I settled on this one. I chose it because unlike the other which was a two wire box, this one was wall mounted which meant PORTABLE. First impressions -- This is a very reliable charger. It feels very strong and dense. It's not overly thick either, about the size of a standard 17V Samsung Chromebook charger. However, what really packs the cake is the end of the cable. It is boring*. From day one and after almost a month of use, the bit (or rather the end of the cable) still has a very noticeable click, which is the exact opposite of the Samsung charger mentioned. Although the cable itself is a bit flimsy. It acts like clay under moderate pressure. Finally, it looks like the protective plastic around the base of the cable on the charger is about to snap just as quickly as the last two chargers. Now for performance - it overheats pretty easily. This was to be expected. However, it delivers exactly the amount of performance it advertises. 20V max at 2.5A. It actually charges slightly faster than my standard laptop charger, which is nice. As for looks and details, it looks pretty cute. No marks, no shiny bits to scratch, all with a rough matte texture. However, there is no LED charge indicator, but that's to be expected at this price point. All in all, this is a very reliable charger. I highly recommend buying this product, especially if you have a wide range of USB-C devices. This will charge each of them very quickly, so it's an easy one-step fix.
