I'm NOT picky when it comes to amps and DACs, but this thing is mediocre at best. It's modeled after the OnePlus cable, but much thinner. It makes a lot of noise when connected to my 1+7Pro. When I twist the headphone plug (IE800) I hear a lot of noise. This adapter also gets very hot during operation. Sound quality is subjective and decent, but absolutely ruined by hiss and hiss. I'm seriously not picky about noise and my hearing isn't great, but this thing sounds like an industrial fan running in the background, especially with low impedance headphones. Spend more money and get something more durable with real quality.
