Review on Nilight TR-03 Row 60" Triple 504 LEDs Truck Tailgate Light Bar - Sequential Amber, Brake, Running, Turn Signal, Reverse by Bob Vulpes

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Sequential indicators have a delay, the clutch needs work.

The footbar is rolled up so you can lay it flat for a while so it doesn't stick to your truck. Cons: 1) Glue works but not great. Buy a roll of original 3M VHT tape (red back) and stick it on this adhesive. It's too hard to remove the cheap glue from the LED strip, so I just stacked it. 2) The wires are very thin, so tape them where they can rub. 3) Blinker strobe is good but has a delay before starting. I suspect that every circuit inside needs to be charged. Installation Instructions: Plug in and test first. You can activate reverse gear by touching it with a 12V+ brake light connector. Just make sure it glows the way you expect it to. Align the LED strip and mark the center. Mark the center on your truck. Make sure the LEDs are visible between the bumper and tailgate as it is set slightly too low and the lights will be obscured by the bumper. Plan out which side the wires will run from. One of the wires that you need to connect to the reverse light on one side. You can connect others to the trailer plug next to the license plate. Clean the area with denatured alcohol, brake cleaner, or acetone, depending on how careful you want to be with your truck's paintwork in the area. You want to remove all oils and clean your hands. Use VHT tape as described in the Disadvantages section. Cut a 6" wide strip of VHT substrate material from the CENTER of the LED strip, we will align the center first and then come out on both sides. Make sure the wires are on the desired side. Once the center stuck, work one side at a time, peeling off the VHT pad, keeping it flush with the gap in the bumper and making sure it lines up with the other side.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
