Okay, here's the thing. I don't write reviews, complain or praise things I've bought, and I don't even return things I don't like. But I have to say that switching to the Absolute Black Oval Chainring was one of the best things I've ever done and I wish I had done it sooner. When riding on flat gravel or pavement I really didn't notice any difference in terms of "bouncing". But get on the hill, oh my god, what's the difference. My knees feel better and I didn't seem as "out of breath" as I used to. I also felt like I had more energy and a smoother ride going uphill. It sounds crazy that changing something as simple as a chain can make such a big difference, but hence the rating. I received the item earlier than promised and the seller was great. Get it, it works
