Very good pencil case. Holds lots of pens and has a mesh top compartment. This compartment has no Velcro or anything to close it, just a flap of material that sits over its opening, which works great. I like that it's longer than a pencil so I can put erasers and a sharpener in there too. Actual measurements are approximately 9.25 inches long, 4 inches wide and 2 inches high. The sides are padded so you can pack it up if you want. It has a nice zipper that closes on both sides. Good material which I believe is waterproof if water is spilled on it.
