Works perfectly; and here is the cable routing

I bought tube headphones with wireless acoustic lamps for skiing. I use them on a Baofeng BF-888S radio. I used to put a radio on my chest and turn up the volume so I could hear someone calling me. Transmission was also an issue because I had to bend down to try and speak into the mic. I don't have to turn up the volume with these tube headphones. The advantage is that I always hear when someone calls me. The downside is that I always hear when someone calls me; including interference with other people using the same channel. Pro: Clear sound both when receiving from the in-ear speaker and when transmitting via the microphone; The other person can hear me clearly. The microphone picked up wind noise, but that's to be expected when skiing. The earpiece fits comfortably. I can wear headphones most of the day. I wore it in my ear from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and it fit me well. Cons: I felt the queue was shorter than I would have liked. I put the radio in my backpack and extended the mic lead up to my chin (clipped to the top of my jacket). I felt that the line between the radio and the mic needed an additional 3-4 inches to be comfortable. I'm sure if I put the radio on my belt I suspect it would solve the problem. This isn't a showstopper, more of a convenience. I bought tube headphones from another brand and they were about the same length. The transmit button on the microphone was a bit difficult to find with ski gloves. Again, not a showstopper. It would be more practical if the button was a little more pronounced. Without gloves, the button is easy to find and press. There is a slight click and you understand that you have received it. Conclusion: For this price I would buy the headset again. It worked. I said the headset is better than just a radio strapped to my chest.
