I don't believe this item was a blue light blocker. Nowhere on the packaging (aside from the sticker that was added) was it mentioned about blocking blue light. It had a green tint, but it turned out to be just a screen protector. I returned it. Instead, I "warmed up" my kid's iPad's brightness using Night Shift mode. I believe this does what I need. An additional screen is not required.
