Review on Bergan 88115 Pet Travel Barrier by Skye Gunnell

I suspected from other reviews that the effectiveness of this product was very specific to dogs. But for the price I thought it was worth a try. The product itself seems very well made, stronger and easier to install than I expected. I've used this on two vehicles and ease of installation depends on the particular vehicle and your flexibility. The top straps are easy, one bottom strap takes about 30 seconds to attach and the other about 20 minutes to find something to attach by wiggling it in a tight space and twisting the hook. all the time upside down with your head under the driver's seat. However, on my other machine everything connected in 5 minutes or less and I was almost fine. I was a little surprised at how well my dog respects the barrier, but if your dog is even slightly inclined to sit in the front seat then this product is not for you. This works well for dogs that need a gentle but constant reminder to "stay behind". I have a 65 lb (11 month old) lab puppy who loves to be the center of everything. I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because the performance will be very situation dependent.
