Review on 💪 AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2970WX 24 Core Processor - Unleash 48 Threads of Power! by Smokeythecryptkeeper Collars

I just finished my build but was only able to run some basic benchmarks and benchmarks including some compute intensive applications (DAZ and BOINC). This processor is so fast and powerful that even if DAZ is presented with >4000 CUDA cores (RTX 2080 Ti) and given the choice, only the CPU is used. (Manual benchmarking in DAZ shows that CPU-only and GPU-only are almost identical, and using a combination of CPU and GPU is only marginally faster (3%). BOINC takes several days to average the scores. No , but early results show that this 24-core threadripper is MUCH better than my i7 3770K (at 50% CPU utilization, 50% of the time) at 56% (75%, 75%), which isn't all that surprising , since its overall processing power is more than 5 times higher.
