I have both this and the Cabeau Evolution Memory Foam Pillow and in this review I will be comparing them. made of black, velor-like material and with adjustable ends that can be easily folded. The Evolution is much more complex, with apparently stronger material on the outside (velours material tends to "stretch marks") and an L-clamp - of course also with flow profiles for temperature control. -Storage: The classic pillow comes with a small storage bag that you can roll up and put the pillow in. Evolution offers the best solution - a fairly massive shell into which you fold the pillow, insert zips and hold tight. its shape is very good. There is also additional storage space inside the case - for example, earplugs are included, which fit very well in the case. You can also have wireless headphones or something similar. It is much better than the classic material. Feeling: I have mixed feelings about evolution. First of all, the main improvement (feeling cool) - it is significantly better than the classic pillow. The problem with a classic pillow is that it wraps around the entire neck - the combination of thick foam, lack of air spaces, and velor covering gets quite hot, which can be a problem on airplanes. The Evolution is significantly better because it only touches your body from above and below and the thinner profile/cross-section in the middle does not cushion your neck, but lets a lot of air through. This combined with the feel of the material is way, way cooler. At the same time, this type of pillow is not so comfortable. While the classic had snug, plush memory foam; evolution is much more complex and has multiple pressure points on different parts of your shoulder and neck. This is how the pillow holds your head. I honestly don't know how to combine the two designs for "Best of" but I had a bit of a neck pain sleeping on the Evolution pillow while I slept much better on the classic (in cooler). have weather). . Another problem I had was that the L-shaped braces on the front were a bit more difficult to take apart compared to the classic pillow. Overall I don't think it advanced the 'game' in terms of neck pillows. . Sure, it solves one of the original classic's biggest problems (heat and subsequent sweat on the neck when sleeping in warmer conditions, a lot of sad things), but introduces a few of its own (a little more pressure points, not like sleeping comfortably). That being said, it probably mostly comes down to preference and opinion. While I prefer the classics, my wife had an overheating issue with the old pillow but was much more comfortable overall with this new one. I'm still looking for the perfect pillow.
