Review on πŸ‘ž Skechers Braver Rayland Loafer Leather Men's Shoes: Comfort and Style in Loafers & Slip-Ons by Mark Gancio

Revainrating 2 out of 5

They look the way they do, but there are a few fatal flaws

High-heeled back made from soft fabric that actually makes it more comfortable than some others with a flat leather collar (like these: Skechers USA Men's Superior Gains Slip-On, Dark brown, 9.5M US which I had and liked except for the leather loops on the heels). But as a side benefit, they don't snag on the heel, which is something slip-ons really need to do to stay on your feet. When you walk in them your heel tends to come off the shoe and this makes you feel like they are not safe and you can easily get out of them. Another thing is that about 2/3 of the showers are made of very soft rubber that wears out almost immediately. It has hard rubber inserts which I assume are meant to be worn but they don't seem to be enough. In particular, both the front and the rear tip as well as a heel edge are missing. I've only had them for about a week but I don't think the souls will last long. Next time I'll try these: Skechers USA Men's Segment The Search Slip On Loafer, Dark Brown, 9.5M US and fingers crossed they have the best of the other two and not a single fault.

Pros
  • Rubber sole
Cons
  • Doesn't fit all
