Review on Threaders Threader Machine Plastic Knitting by Amanda Castillo

Convenient and smart threader for threading fine needles and regular polyester thread

I don't understand why anyone should write a negative review for this product. As with any new tool, there is a learning curve, but this one is very easy to master. With a little practice and skill, anyone with fully functional hands can do this. This solved my problem of being able to quickly thread through the eye of the needle on the first try. It does exactly that. I used Coats and Clarke universal polyester thread. The eye of the needle I use is quite small, big enough to thread through, and the needle is about 2.5 inches long. Here's what I did after watching the online video. (I'm right-handed.) First, make a loop with the thread and hold it between your thumb and forefinger. Make sure one side of the loop is shorter than the other. Loop this loop over your left index finger and hold the needle between your left thumb and index finger. thumb and forefinger of your right hand and insert the small hook into the eye of the needle. Make sure the needle is against the plastic of the device and tilt the hook needle up slightly to keep it from falling off the hook. Then release the needle and pull the thread between the thumb and forefinger of your left hand. Now loop the thread around the hook and carefully pull the thread back through the eye of the needle with the hook. Thread tension or even gripping both threads AND the needle at the same time. Pull the thread through until the short side comes all the way out, and voila! the threaded needle is ready for use as always. The video says more than a thousand words, which makes it seem more complicated than it really is. So watch the video and buy this handy sewing gadget!
