Review on Galeton Prescription Glasses with 9200581 Goggles Design by Jeffrey Mosqueda

Revainrating 5 out of 5

ANSI Z87+2010 standard and wide goggles fit

My goggles are 5 7/8 inches from hinge to hinge and they fit perfectly. I had to return two glasses from OTHER BRANDS because my prescription glasses were too wide for them. It's difficult to measure the interior because the glasses are curved, but I find there is enough room for 6 1/4" (hinge to hinge) prescription glasses. The glasses are very comfortable, only here in Florida they fog up from sweat I can't blame the goggles for this, I think the only way to prevent this is to add a way to force air in. I've just received the goggles but they seem to be well made and the sturdy lenses offer a wide view.I love them!Additional information on the box reads: These safety glasses are manufactured to ANSI Z87+2010 for protection against moderate impact, metal shavings, particles and sparks, work-related impacts such as grinding wheel fragments safety glasses, face shield (when used in conjunction with goggles) and/or machine guards Consult your safety professional to determine what type of guard for your work environment is required. Glasses should be checked regularly. Scratched, chipped or broken lenses reduce visibility and impact resistance and should be replaced immediately. Clear and tinted lenses filter out 99.9% of far and near ultraviolet (UV) light. Tinted lenses provide protection from sun glare BUT should NOT be used when welding, soldering or cutting or where hazardous IR and/or UV radiation is present. Glasses with a special IR filter should be worn when welding. The protective goggles supplied must be worn. These goggles do not provide protection from molten metal, chemical splash or laser radiation."
