It's just meh: constant tension problems

The product will function when set up correctly. The problem is that you have to constantly adjust the tension. This is useful if you use a lot of paper and thereby reduce the weight of the roll. The problem is that I have to readjust the tension almost every two wraps and there isn't enough paper used when wrapping to reduce the overall weight of the roll. Having to adjust every few wraps really throws your rhythm off balance. When we try to complete a significant number of orders it becomes a real headache when we have to stop and adjust the tension. As expensive as this pack was, I had much higher expectations for its performance. As for the packaging, it works, it's nice and it seems to do the trick. The fact that both sheets tear at the same time is a completely different matter. You have to cut it separately. We must also pull them out one by one. Overall, the wrapper is really cumbersome to use. Overall I think you can probably use soft kraft paper and get the same performance at a much lower price. Given the price of 0.12 cents per linear foot, we'll probably look for another solution.

Pros
  • shock absorber; with excellent shock absorbing and protective properties
Cons
  • Legacy Model
