I wanted to pack all my off-season shoes in breathable fabric boxes instead of plastic boxes. I have used cheap plastic boxes for many years and have found my shoes to rot and fall apart as I put them on. A friend told me it was because they couldn't breathe in those boxes. I did a little research and it's true. I have many shoes, boots, etc., and you can put on two pairs of heels or short boots, or more if you put them on. I could also put on long boots while laying them down. The plastic part isn't crystal clear on them, but I have them high up in my closet so it's not a big problem.
