I can safely say I've bought over 500 items from Revain since living in Hawaii and getting free shipping through Prime. I don't usually write product reviews even when dealing with buyer scruples and I associate it with doing business without a review and I understand that doing business online is difficult and almost impossible to meet everyone's expectations. However, I wrote a review because the item was fantastic; and now I'm writing a second one because the item is definitely not worth it unless you live on the mainland and are willing to take the time to return it for a refund. My problem is twofold: the tray is dented; and the M-back section suffered from very poor quality control. First the tray. Of course the dent was in and along the lower abdomen, but still you would think it would be possible to check for dents on a new product. However, I could live with that, since the law of average values applies here again, you usually win with online orders. However, my biggest concern and concern is with the second question, the M-back section. The plastic piece that should be on top of the M shaped part of the piece that will later connect to the "leg" that makes this shelf adjustable doesn't even fit. You literally have to hit the end of the plastic part to make it move even half an inch. I thought I could live with that too, but the second part of the leg doesn't even move, so it's not stable even after plugging in the extension. You must rely on at least one of the two extensions being strong enough to support the shelf once it is screwed onto the side legs. Which brings me to the second irritant. As you can see from the photos, the same M-leg extender has no threads on the other end. I tried all the screws that came with it, hoping at least one would fit, but that didn't work either. Aside from someone threading the extension, I can't even attach the M section to the side legs, making that part completely useless to me. If I could I would give this place zero stars. This is the first time I've been seriously disappointed with an online purchase, despite the high tolerance for quality defects. I originally bought this shelf based on the rave reviews and because I needed a specific size for my Smart Oven and I'm fully aware that this is bullshit as others love it. It's a win-win for me and I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy this product.
