My boyfriend and I have decided to start a podcast, otherwise we don't seem very smart. I would say our production is on a tight budget but I'm not sure we can afford it at the moment. So we needed a pair of microphones that we could plug into the same device to record both of us simultaneously without the need for an actual sound card or other special gear, and we needed them to be cheap enough for the project to be just a silly little hobby , which is not good for us, I don't mind investing in good microphones. They are very inexpensive, plug and play, and record with at least "good enough" sound quality. We'll probably want to upgrade one day if this idiocy gets popular, but for now? It's great for us. They should also be good if we want to do live episodes at conventions or something in the future instead of lugging around a bunch of gear. I'd say it's great if you're starting out on a budget and want portable mics. , or want a pair of spare mics but don't want to spend a lot on them.
