This is a repeat purchase and full price both times. The first time I bought this cable from the Wal-Mart website was 5 months ago. I am very picky about my chargers and this one has no chips, scratches or kinks. I get compliments on this cable all the time. The rainbow color is very well done and vibrant. Rainbow part METAL. It has something like a flexible transparent coating. This makes it feel so comfortable that I prefer this charger to the wireless one. The length is great. You should be aware that this does not come with a plug. I would probably pay the same for a perfectly fitting plug. Bottom line, the quality is absolutely second to none. This makes a great gift because it is so beautiful and the packaging is very pretty.
