Pros Filling the tanks was easy and hassle free. Some users said it was a messy process and I don't understand how to do it. It was very easy. You can set it up to print via WiFi, network cable or USB, which is very convenient. Duplex printing worked well and alignment was accurate. The setup was user friendly. If you've had an eye test, you can calibrate the printheads. Multiple images will be printed and you must choose which one looks best and click Next. There are five pages in total. Unfortunately, it didn't stay flat for very long. Three pages later there was a noticeable shift in the vertical lines. Cons: The software is cumbersome. After downloading four different software packages, Epson still recommended that I download a few more. Then you have to register for each of them and provide them with all your personal information. If you want to print wirelessly, you need to download another software package and set up an account. All software must be in one package (program), and no registration should be required for printing over Wi-Fi. I sent a 5 page scan job to my computer and it took over 8 minutes to process. In addition, only four pages were recognized, although the fifth page had already gone 2/3 through the automatic document feeder. The multi-page automatic document feeder for scanning was the main reason I bought this printer and it didn't work. The print quality was below average. I expected more from a $400 printer. Check out the close-up of the printer's test page that I included in this review. Black words on white paper, blots and colored stains everywhere. It's an inkjet printer, so I wasn't expecting perfection, but I had a $30 inkjet printer that printed much better than this printer, and this $30 printer sent the scanned image to my computer almost immediately. With borderless printing, you cannot print on both sides, multi-page, or in color (all options are greyed out). It also forces you to print in standard quality, which is really bad. Conclusion This would be a good printer if they combined the software packages into one and fixed the automatic document feeder. However, due to the poor print quality, I don't think it will cost more than $250. I ended up sending this printer back because it didn't work. The printer is very slow, especially when scanning, and the print quality is below average. They list many features, but most of them cannot be used together. The biggest problem was that the automatic document feeder was not working properly. I saw another review mentioning this but thought it was just a coincidence. Apparently it wasn't. Keep shopping. This one isn't worth it.
