This is the perfect necklace for me! I worked in veterinary medicine for 18 years, 13 years in an animal emergency clinic. I have 9 cats and 2 small dogs. Dog and cat snuggle up to enjoy the crescent moon and stars. The pendant and chain are made of 925 sterling silver with an 18k yellow and white finish on the silver surface. Safe materials are resistant to oxidation. Very beautiful and precious.
