Very light. It's all plastic, so you have to be careful not to strain it. It securely holds my Samsung Galaxy Tab A. The strap is poorly designed; It attaches too far under the tray so when in use it slides over the bottom of the tray, throwing it off balance. I don't recommend a belt; Instead, I recommend a strap that attaches to the controller. I use the Taisioner Anti-Fall Clip Mount which works with smartphones or this tablet holder. Another problem is that it doesn't lend itself well to packaging. I can fit the controller mount into the tablet mount, but that forces the spring into a position that is more than I need for my Samsung tablet; So I'm worried about spring break. There was a protruding ball joint on the back of the tablet holder that didn't fit into the controller holder due to the loop that the strap attaches to. Finding the tape useless I cut off this loop and it holds up much better. So I'm happy with that after the hack. 4 stars because it holds a tablet and is lightweight, but I deducted a star because of the poor strap design and packaging design. I would deduct 2 stars but cutting the strap loop solves the packaging problem.
