Review on πŸ”₯ 2nd Gen Thermal Pad by Jesus Jenkins

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent cooling performance and ease of use

This is the ideal thermal pad to replace traditional thermal pads that all too often come with graphics cards or M.2 drive cases. Its thermal conductivity of 12.8 W/mK makes it one of the best thermal pads on the market and even rivals high-quality thermal compounds. The seal is very flexible and can easily be cut with normal scissors. This 120x20mm halved version is perfect for a pair of 2280 M.2 SSDs, or you can easily make small strips/squares for graphics card components. Combined with a good heatsink, this pad did a great job of cooling my NVMe SSD below its thermal throttling temperature. The only thing to note is that this is a high density pad so it doesn't compress as easily. like normal inferior pads which can be very soft. You must ensure that you order this spacer in the correct thickness for your application, as too thick a spacer may add unwanted bulk or even interfere with proper placement of your heatsink. If you're seeing excessive temperatures from your NVMe drives or your graphics card's RAM/power components, it's definitely worth trying one of these thermal pads (assuming the rest of your cooling solution is working properly). Highly recommended.

Pros
  • SUPERIOR THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY
Cons
  • Easily torn
