
This thing is just awful. After all the cables were reconnected I checked to make sure they worked before exposing the glue, everything looked fine. Unfortunately, after attaching it to the iPad, it stopped responding to touches. I asked for a new one and when I removed the first one I saw that the ribbon cable was indeed disconnected from the digitizer and also the entire digitizer had broken into a few small pieces when removed, unlike the OEM. a few days after installing the second sensory response just was not felt. It turns out I have a 1-2 inch dead zone right in the middle of the screen. I still live with him to this day. The icing on the cake is that about a month after installing the second replacement unit, I get an email saying that if the original order is not returned, I will be billed for the replacement unit. As I mentioned, it broke into so many tiny pieces that it went in the bin without a second thought. So not only did I pay for 2 of them, I ended up with a huge dead spot right in the middle of my screen.
