Powered by AT&T Fiber "Homerun" (cable that goes to the modem outside the house). I used to work for AT&T so I was disappointed when they came out and did a crappy install (used old wiring that was badly bolted outside the house) (we just bought it). I replaced the wire that goes from the side of the house to the modem with this one. I went from an 8-10ms ping to a Speedtest dot net server to a constant 4ms ping and went from 550Mbps to 650Mbps down to about 880Mbps and 950 Mbps up. (Note that the old cable was cat5e which is "rated" for 1000Mbps). Overall I would definitely buy again. I chose this option rather than trying to terminate my own wires as the Cat7 needs to be shielded and the shield needs to be crimped which is quite difficult if you haven't already done so. Instead of using Cat6 which I have a lot of experience with I tried this for the price and quality. will come loose again, and might still fit to connect to my other router. Cons: Zip ties/tape/nails with plastic parts. of poor quality. It's not really a big deal as they were just a plus to the purchase.
