As I am now working from home due to the 2020 quarantine, my eyes and the blue light from computers have bothered me. It helps with blue light and eye fatigue. I also suffer from dry eyes. I did a little experiment: I spent several hours in front of the TV and at the end of the day my eyes were red and very dry. It took a few days for the redness to subside. After that I spent several hours with a protector in front of my laptop and at the end of the day my eyes were tired but not red or dry. In that sense it works. You sacrifice screen quality, but I agree to protect my eyes.
