Review on πŸ’œ Amazon Basics 11.6-Inch Laptop Sleeve, Zippered Protective Case - Purple by Andrew Amzallag

Scratches my Dell XPS 15 9560.

I don't know how I feel about this case. On the one hand it does what it's supposed to do, on the other hand the zipper scratches both the top and bottom of my Dell XPS 15 9560. It's happening on both sides of my laptop, so it's not just the zipper head, it's lightning teeth as well. Now the scratches are limited to the area around the left and right corners of the zipper, and yes, I had a cloth comb (under the zipper teeth) stretched across the top of the laptop before closing it. The pictures I uploaded are taken with my Samsung S7 so I apologize in advance that the scratches might be hard to see due to the quality. On the other hand, the sleeve seems to have had a few threads untied since the first day I received it. They have not spread in the 2 weeks I've owned the product but something to note for a brand new case. Also cut out the plastic labels inside the case as this will add wear and tear to your laptop (albeit minimal) and make it easier to clean. so that the threads holding the marks break and pull more thread out of the sleeve for them. Some of the changes I made to the sleeve were I put a small piece of tennis on the underside of the zipper head to keep it from getting even rougher. My dear laptop. (I will upload pics of this) How I attached the tennis court to the handle by attaching it with double sided phone repair tape I bought on eBay. I bought one that was black and not transparent; I've found that clear double sided tape has a very weak adhesive that doesn't stick well to some things as I use my double sided tape for a variety of purposes other than phone repairs. If you are a Dell XPS 15 owner I do not recommend this product if you want your device to be 100% like new.
