Here are my thoughts after coding with this flower. Prior to that, and even now, I do most of my work on Ubuntu-powered HP notebooks. What a horrible, uncomfortable keyboard. The keys are spaced like they were made for someone with a giant claw, not fingers. Developers have no use for such a large touchpad. It makes it difficult to align your hands properly for printing, and you won't want to draw on it. In programming, where shortcuts and touch typing are commonplace, a panel with graphics instead of keys is not useful. It's also possible to hit this panel by accident and start a third-party app while developing. The laptop gets really hot even when performing jobs that aren't particularly taxing, which is disappointing given that it belongs to the "premium" price category. After using contemporary Ubuntu, the OS is really awkward to use. Ten years ago, I dabbled with a poppy. This overwhelming sense that time has stood still. It's as if I had abandoned Windows for years on XP and then returned to find that nothing except the icon resolution had changed. I own an iPhone, an iPad, and an Apple Watch; I'm familiar with the software; I pay for premium subscriptions; nevertheless, when working from a laptop, I require a different degree of flexibility and sophistication in the apps available to me. Sorry, Steve and Tim, but I'm not quite ready for the $2500-level technology you've developed. Focus on your issues and the issues of copyright holders rather than how much easier and faster it is for me to accomplish my job. It's excellent for sitting in meetings "like everyone else with a poppy" or sipping coffee while "radiating success" while using an Apple laptop at a cafe, but it's not great for programming. I was given a brand-new laptop for my own use, and I couldn't be happier that I didn't spend my money on _this_ instead.
