Great for an 80 " TV but with some minor issues

I was in a very bad position when I inherited an 80" Tivo without a stand. I didn't want to wall mount it and ordered this stand as the original didn't have a TV neck. I was concerned about the reviews about mounting something larger than a 70" TV, but it mounts well on an 80" Vizio and looks good too. The black acrylic base has a modern look, and the 80-inch size fits with no issues. There are a couple of issues with the slide screw locking mechanism, which doesn't work no matter how you tighten it, and that's a poor design that requires a wrench. Hold a nut while tightening the bolt. No matter how tight I tightened it, I still had to twist it. After all, there really couldn't be a better way to prevent your TV from sliding along the rail. There's no locking screw, so you can slide the TV from side to side, as the bottom hooks are just there to make sure it lines up with the stand. This is a security feature that is missing. I added my own screws but that wasn't easy but necessary. The 80-inch TV's weight is on the edge of the 132-pound legal limit at 123 pounds, and as a result the TV has a slight forward tilt, which is normal for a TV of this size. I would say the tilt is about 10 degrees. Keep that in mind as there is no tilt adjustment at all on this stand. Overall I've just found an 80 inch stand that I'm happy with, but there is room for improvement.
