I had a replacement cable for my Sennheiser HD599 hanging on my desk and the cat got it. Great replacement. I have an identical cable for my AKGQ701 (of course with a suitable connector). , This cable only works with Sennheiser products.) Edit: Wow, I never found out that this cable actually degrades the sound quality. I'm NOT the type of person who thinks wires or cables matter, especially when done right. I have several cables from NewFantasia (good quality) but they all degrade the sound of my headphones. I don't understand how or why, especially since they are much shorter than the cables I'm comparing, but the difference is huge. I honestly didn't notice this for several months until I got too lazy to pull this cable out of my pocket and went with the stock cable instead. Stay away if you're not interested in form over function.
