I came across MicrodermaMitt while looking for a new exfoliating pad to replace my old one. The price seemed quite high for an exfoliating mitt, but the reviews were good and I was in a "spoiled" mood that day, so I decided to give it a try. I won't lie, I was a little disappointed when I opened it. It looked like something I could find in a ton of a $1 deal, and it was so smooth/non-abrasive that I really didn't think it would really exfoliate my skin that much. I decided I was scammed for $25 and that was it. The next time I took a shower, I almost grabbed my old exfoliating towelette, but decided to at least give MicrodermaMitt a try. And I still can't believe how well this glove worked. (Well, I'd like to preface this by saying that I do a rigorous exfoliation twice a week, every week. I've tried many different exfoliating pads, gloves, scrubs, etc.) I took a warm shower and gave him a one few minutes softened my skin, then turned off the water and got to work with the brushing. At first I didn't really think it would do much good. It wasn't harsh, abrasive, or scratchy like most exfoliating mitts, and honestly I felt like it rubbed my skin smooth. And then I ran my hand over my newly cleaned stomach and it was completely COVERED with little balls and rolls of dead skin (horrible, I know). glove a few times before I'm quite done. And as someone who already exfoliates frequently, I couldn't believe there was SO MUCH to remove! After drying and applying a light moisturizer, I still can't believe how smooth, silky and fresh my skin has become. Although MicrodermaMitt exfoliates so well, it's not harsh at all. I usually come out of the shower a little red, blotchy and dry after exfoliating. MicrodermaMitt didn't leave me flushed or overly polished, just smooth and fresh. In fact, it was so gentle I even used it on my face right after I showered. The large size of the glove allows you to peel everything very quickly, it is easy to wash off, and the hanging loop is very convenient. for storage outside the shower. I will definitely buy this glove again and again, it is worth the price!
