I bought this so I don't have to press foundation or concealer onto the back of my hand. That works great. The wells are very suitable for liquid products. It is very easy to clean. A quick scrub in the sink and you're good to go again. I didn't use the small spatula that comes with the kit because I don't need it. It is necessary? No, but I'm glad I have it now, so I don't forget I have makeup on the back of my hands and on my hair (which has happened a few times).
