Excellent threads from others! These are the standard 15mm rods used for DSLR cameras HOWEVER the thread size for the end caps is NOT standard. Generally, you have a choice of a 12mm thread or a 1/2" x 13 thread. These two sizes are the most common. This product has a 10mm x 1.0 thread. The problem is that If you own the SmallRig brand, they are not compatible if end caps or tie rods are used together. They otherwise fit standard 15mm risers and mounting configurations. For my purposes they work fine because I cut them to custom lengths anyway The wall of the pipe is much thicker than 12mm or 1/2" threaded pipes and I suspect they are quite difficult to bend and have to support fairly heavy installations.
