Let me first say that I have not traveled with this bag yet, I am leaving next week and will update this review then. Looking at the bag at the moment it looks well made, the straps are comfortable and the zippers and buttons work perfectly. The only real downside I have is the side zip for the main compartment. I didn't really notice that when I bought the bag and the flap on the front gives the impression that you can enter from the top, but I believe this bag is mainly intended to be carried on the side as the pen and accessory pockets are inside. Main compartment faces to the side, no pockets, no straps to keep items in place. I'll exit the bag and see how it goes, overall I'm happy with it, just wish the side zip went all the way. .
