I don't think I've ever seen my 8 year old son love an article of clothing more than these shoes. He is delighted with them and constantly wears them at home. He even wore them to bed with his pajamas. He says they are very comfortable and warm (just right for winter). They appear to be of a very high quality and are exactly the same level of quality as the adults my wife has and loves. They won't wear out anytime soon. They're filled with rubber and lined with microfleece on the inside to support his feet around the house or on quick walks outside, and the lining keeps his feet warm. They're about mid-calf, which he loves as it offers even more warmth. He also says that the sole of the shoe is very comfortable and cushions his feet as he walks. He says it's like walking on clouds. They even say they are machine washable in cold water, which is great since he wears them all the time.
