Review on AmazerBath Plastic Shower Curtain: Heavy Duty Clear Stones, Thick 72x72 Inches EVA 8G Bathroom Curtains by April Masters

A bit disappointed. The picture showed a more flowing curtain, almost like a fabric, which is what I wanted. What I received was a folded very thick pink liner. Once removed from the packaging, the creases appear to be permanent. It smelled strangely sweet sweet. After reading the packaging, the curtain (which is more of a lining) has been treated with cornmeal to reduce sticking. I was grateful for the lack of chemical fumigation that most plastic liners have, but I have to say the cornmeal made me vomit! I immediately rinsed the entire curtain with warm water, trying to get rid of the cornmeal. I hung the curtain to dry and the sweet smell was greatly reduced. There was a black stain (sorry I forgot to take a picture) in one of the outer folds of the curtain that won't wash off. Soooo I had to clean the black stain with bleach and a scrubbing brush, I ended up getting rid of the black stain it soaked up that should have been there during the manufacturing or packaging process. The second time I rinse the curtain and hang it to dry. Glad the smell of corn is gone! I really appreciate the sheer beads at the bottom of the curtain to keep it in place. Overall the pink color is nice but now I need a fabric curtain as what I bought is nothing more than a liner and will be saving it for this function. I decided to write a long review because I really appreciate other buyers when they do it. It helps to have the information to make an informed decision on whether or not to buy products!
