I am 58 years old and stopped using Bare Minerals powder many years ago because it bothered my lines and made me look older. The makeup I use (Image or Pure) is quite wet and matte is more appropriate for my age. So I apply a light powder after I'm done applying concealer and foundation. It "lays down” on the foundation and does not settle on it. I've noticed that the foundation stays on longer, which was always a problem. I am sensitive to smells and this is perfumed. However, it's not uncomfortable (just unnecessary in my opinion). Luckily the smell doesn't linger.
