Stood up to a wind storm in Gulf Shores
We took this to Gulf Shores, AL with us. Turned out to be an absolute wind storm unlike any the locals had seen for a long time. The umbrella fabric held up really well, however, the pole itself was not stable in the sand. Not sure if I needed something else to keep it from falling over, or if we did something wrong, but we had it screwed down into the ground pretty far. I loved the ability to tilt it to the direction that we needed. All in all a good buy.
- Easy to set up and take down, even for novice beachgoers
- The fiberglass ribs may become warped over time, affecting the umbrella's overall performance
