I used them as the main light source in my homebuilt camper. It's a small space and the entire interior is painted white so these lights work well there. Most of the time I leave them on. When I enter the camper, they turn on automatically. When I leave they turn off after 20-30 seconds. I've used them with my own battery for a few weeks as I work in a camper van sometimes and they show no sign of dimming. I ran a cable to my power bank and installed the charging cables where they are. Yes, they charge when you use them. Fully dimmable, switchable between warm and cool light, or you can use 'neutral' and get warm/cool light at the same time. My only gripe is that the magnetic back is literally the only way to attach it. There are no screw holes on the back of the devices. When I tow my camper, the headlights do NOT stay in place. When I arrive at my destination, I usually find them dangling from cables. never mind I just have to remove them and keep them moving, which is an extra step I really don't want to bother with. But for the price, I'm happy to accept that. I was initially skeptical of their adequacy, but they are perfect for my application. Would order again.
