Contrary to many reviews here, the shoes fit as expected (width at least). What some might find a little larger than usual is the arch that keeps your feet from slipping out (the part with all the holes). However, I actually felt a little more comfortable with the pair of Crocs Scutes I had before them. It really did feel like my feet would slip, but I'm happy to report that this never happened and I gave up the idea after wearing them all day for a few days. To add a little more detail, I'm a 29-year-old male weighing about 190 pounds with a normal build in terms of bone structure, although slightly overweight. I usually wear size 11 shoes and this is the same size I bought them in, again no problem. I definitely see a potential problem with teenagers or men who may have a much leaner physique. If you or someone you know are going to wear them, go down there and you're done. . I've bought quite a few of these over the past 8 years and replaced them when they wear out and they never let me know - I wear them almost every day and definitely more than any other shoe I own. They fit much more snugly than the Baya and perhaps others have sought to complain about their size. However, after a week I was already used to the new pair and now when I go back to the scutes I feel cramped. I will continue to wear them everyday as usual and will let you know if I notice any abnormal stretch that actually causes them to slip off my feet making them unwearable.
