The seasons change, it's time for a new bag and this one was a good choice. The PU (polyurethane) leather that this wallet is made of has an "almost" leathery smell. The embroidery on the front is well done and the gold stitching in the flowers coordinates with the metal piping on the top of the bag, the four legs on the bottom and all the zippers and piping. The bag has handles, but there is also a long shoulder strap. There is a lined outside pocket on the back of the bag. Opening the main compartment reveals a central zip pocket, two open pockets and two zip pockets. The gray part is only on the front of the wallet. The rest of the wallet is black. I was expecting a real grey, but it's more of a taupe, maybe a taupe. I like when things coordinate, so I want the embroidered piece to be that color or have the embroidery done to match the gray hue of the handbag. 8½" x 5". A strange thing is that inside there is a cheap chain with a fluffy pompom. There is a fabric handle strap that doesn't seem to match this bag at all. It's a black background with multicolored letters that mean LOVE. It's too childish and doesn't match a sophisticated handbag. This is a very good bag once I removed the fluffy part and the cloth handle. Looks great for fall.
